Kelly Isaakidou comes from Kilkis.
Her dance journey began with classical and contemporary dance until 2013 when she moved to Thessaloniki to delve further into the world of dance. That’s how she started Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Hip Hop, European Latin dances, and Reggaeton.
Reggaeton is a sensual dance that emerged in the early 1990s in Puerto Rico.
Dance-wise, it’s influenced by dancehall and hip hop, making it a distinct street style!
When she first entered Christina Tzakou’s reggaeton class, she decided that it was what she wanted to focus on! So, she immediately joined the competitive team Chicas Calientes.
It didn’t take long before she began teaching in 2016. Apart from beginner classes, she also created her competitive team, Savage Dames. Besides performing at various city events like Street Awards, Battle of the Best, Symposium, Bounce, Pyxida Association, Vang, Flashmob Reggaeton, they achieved notable positions in reggaeton competitions.
Finally, the team traveled to Krakow, Poland, for a reggaeton festival where they had the honor to perform alongside teams from across Europe!
She has been taught by internationally renowned choreographers such as Inga Fominykh, Osmani Segura, Yoyo Flow, Kaea Pierce, Tito Garmendia, Cano Monroy, and others.
“My classes focus on the joy this dance style brings! So, we enter the room with full energy and enthusiasm, exercising while filling our minds with positive vibes! Of course, we prioritize our technique, remaining disciplined and committed to our progress!”
