The Academy Of Dance, in collaboration with Maria Saridou, presents the Academic Program. During this program, students have the opportunity, under the guidance of Maria Saridou and her associates – specialized dance teachers, psychologists, physical trainers, etc. – to graduate equipped with essential skills in general dance technique, musicality, choreographies, performance, learning various dance styles, as well as understanding student psychology. Furthermore, the program aims to make them feel free, creative, full of self-confidence, and ready to pursue and achieve their dreams.
Students engage in a program that focuses on body technique, body lines, waves, isolations, footwork, and many other aspects. These elements are applied and practiced through choreographies. Additionally, students are provided with a book containing the curriculum and theoretical material of the course, which has been compiled by specialist associates of the Academy Of Dance. As it is an educational program, students are required to participate in examinations at the end of the academic year, where they are tested on both the practical and theoretical aspects of dance. The primary goal of our school and Maria Saridou is to create a safe space for everyone, where they can explore body and mind through movement.
Class Hours per Week:
3 hours with Maria Saridou.
1 hour with another teacher from the school.
